Seit ziemlich genau einem Jahr gibt es nun unser Community Music Programm auf dem Sonnenberg in Chemnitz. Über dieses Jahr hinweg hat uns ein Filmteam begleitet und unsere Arbeit dokumentiert – von den ersten Community-Kontakten bis hin zu großen Feierlichkeiten und bunten Umzügen durch Chemnitz mit vielen Menschen.
Daraus ist nun ein ca. 15-minütiger Film entstanden, der erzählt, was für eine Kraft Community Music haben kann, wie unterschiedliche Menschen zusammenkommen, wie wir gemeinsam kreativ gestalten und Musik machen.
Er zeigt, was sonst oft schwierig in Wort zu fassen ist: die Vielfalt, die Komplexität, all die Überlegungen, die hinter der Arbeit mit Community Music stecken. Er richtet sich an Interessierte, an Menschen, die ähnliche Arbeit starten oder schon machen - er zeigt, was mit Community Music möglich ist.
Danach (ca. 19:15) gibt es ein Q&A mit dem Filmteam, das übertragen wird. Das Gespräch findet auf deutsch statt.
Anschließend ist der Film frei auf Youtube verfügbar und immer abrufbar. Der Film ist auf Englisch und Deutsch, jeweils mit Untertiteln.

Our Community Music programme has now been running at Sonnenberg in Chemnitz for almost exactly a year. Over the course of this year, a film crew has been following us and documenting our work – from our first interactions with the community right through to large-scale celebrations and colourful parades through Chemnitz involving lots of people.
The result is a film of around 15 minutes that shows the power of community music, how different people come together, and how we create and make music together.
It shows what is often difficult to put into words: the diversity, the complexity, and all the considerations that lie behind working with community music. It is aimed at anyone interested, at people who are starting or already doing similar work – it shows what is possible with community music.
Afterwards (approx. 19:15), there will be a Q&A with the film team, which will be streamed. The discussion will take place in German.
The film will then be freely available on YouTube and can be viewed at any time. The film is in English and German, with subtitles in both languages.
