Join Our Paper Lantern Community

Community is at the heart of our work. We believe that real change happens where people connect. That’s why we don’t just work for community – we also strive to live it within our collective.

With the Paper Lantern Community, we’re building a circle of friends, donors and companions who stand with us and help carry our mission forward. We want to share stories and updates about our work and in return ask for your support and ideas. 

What does membership mean?

As part of the Paper Lantern Community, you’ll regularly get insights into our work:

• You’ll be invited to two community gatherings each year. At our annual meeting (online), we’ll share our impact report, retell moments from our work that moved us and create space for dialogue and exchange. In addition, we’ll host an in-person meeting in Chemnitz, where we can connect, experience our work firsthand, share ideas, and make music together.

• You’ll receive a monthly newsletter with updates on our activities and stories from our daily life – giving you a close-up view of what we do.

How can you become a member?

Simply sign up using the form. You’ll then receive a confirmation email from us. We’ll add you to our mailing list and invite you to community gatherings. If you want to support our work regularly, we’ll provide you with a link to set up a regular donation.
