WE ARE COMMUNITY MUSICIANS
We enable cultural participation for all through democratic community music projects. Together, we work on the creative reimagining and transformation of places, communities and institutions. We create inspiring, collaboratively designed artistic works that inspire celebration, joy and wonder, and have a lasting impact.
We have decades of experience and come from a tradition of community arts — from Welfare State International and More Music Morecambe — to the current international Community Music sector, of which we are an active part.
The Paper Lantern team is at the forefront of community music practice globally, impact-driven and continuously developed through reflective practice, comprehensive evaluation, training, and intensive collaboration with communities and partners.
Art is a human right. Everyone is an artist.
