Parade over the Sonnenberg

We’ll be dancing, singing and drumming together through the streets during our “Flowers Instead of Concrete” parade. Accompanied by the Sonnenberg street band, people of all ages are welcome to join in, sing along and bring diversity to the streets. We’ll be meeting at Lessingplatz on the day for the following programme:

11.00 - 11.45: Music workshop for children
12.00 - 12.45: Music workshop for children
From 13.15: Preparations are underway at Lessingplatz
From 13.45: Start of the parade
approx. 14.30: Arrival at Stadtwirtschaft
From there, many venues hosting events are easily accessible.
Anyone who fancies getting creative with the parade preparations and getting involved in music (even without any prior experience) can do so on Saturday 16 May at the Stadtwirtschaft (event hall, next to Jakobstraße 46).

10.30 - 11.15: Spielwiese: Musik - Music activities for families with children (up to 5 years old)
11.15 - 12.30: Family craft session: making flowers for the parade
14.00 - 15.00: Musical warm-up for the parade (no prior experience necessary, everyone is welcome)!
15.00 - 17.00: Crafting and building sculptures from willow branches for the parade
