Virtual Masterclass

A flexible, self-paced online introduction that covers the foundations: what Community Music is and isn't, the ethics that underpin it, and practical tools to begin applying it in your work.

Who it’s for

Musicians, educators, and community or social practitioners who want a solid foundation before joining in-person training or integrating participatory methods into their work or those who are looking for a refresher toolkit to enhance or update their practice.

What you will cover & format

  3. Warm-ups toolkit: a bank of starts, resets, confidence builders

  4. Facilitation basics: simple musical leadership structures that work with mixed skills

  5. Co-creation taster: prompts and frameworks for making something new with groups

  6. Templates + tools: session plan template, reflection + evaluation basics

  7. Case examples: short PLC examples from Chemnitz / projects (to make it real, not abstract)
